The weather is beautiful...finally. This meant getting everyone, pups included, out of the house yesterday for a walk. Carson loved the sunshine. He didn't make a peep the entire time, just sat in his stroller surveying the scene. Thor yapped, Aspen ran and I was pleased to actually get some sort of exercise. Nick wasn't as thrilled with the exercise. Afterall, he'd just spent the afternoon replacing the clutch in the Wagoneer. Exercise enough. I tried to help, but am not the best garage assistant. In fact, I think Nick would rather I not even try. Our house has been taken over by vehicles. I'm nearly certain our neighbors hate us. At least the white trash part of us. We have five cars at the house (and a one car garage); a 1964 Chevy stepside, the 1971 Wagoneer, his rock crawling 1969 Jeep Commando, a Honda Civic that we are hoping Sarah will take off of our hands shortly, and the new CTS. I like to foolishly believe sometimes that just because there is a Cadillac out front that it constitutes us as "not quite as trashy". I don't think it is working. I was browsing Craigslist for new home listings and came across one titled "A car lovers dream". Excellent. Opened it to find a barely standing double wide trailer with a five car garage. Lovely. Needless to say we are still on the hunt for a bigger house. In the mean time, Carson just got his first Jeep. He's learned to reverse, honk the horn and turn on the radio (usually with his face or mouth), spin and admire his incredible good looks in the side view mirrors and spin the car in circles.

Easter was a wonderful day. We spent the morning at the Nugget with Nick's family and then headed to my mom's for family dinner and an egg hunt. We were able to get some of Nick's baby pictures and if we weren't sure that Carson looked just like his dad before, we are certain now. We'll get some pictures of that up shortly. We're having scanning difficulties at the office.

I have continued with my cake decorating and made a karate kid birthday cake for a friend and a Snow White birthday cake for our niece, Faith's 6th birthday. Savannah's birthday is next month, so we'll see what we can come up with for that.

Carson is thankful to have some new things to eat. His new favorites? Bananas, peaches and pears. He loved his sweet potatoes and squash too. He doesn't dislike much, but the peas did make him gag. Can you really blame him, though? I'd rather have pears too.
