Christmas Chaos

Well, Christmas was a smash success....now we need a week to recover. After three straight days of never being put down, apparently Carson needs a week to adjust as well. He thinks that constant attention should be the new standard. Mom doesn't have enough arms to make that happen. Nick braved the elements last weekend and cut down a tree that we enjoyed decorating. Carson dressed as Santa Claus for Christmas Eve at Grandma Nancy's house. He also played the part of baby Jesus in the Nativity with his cousins (Avery and Scott were sorely missed). Christmas Day was spent with Grandma Lesly, Great Grandma Floy and Nick's family. Santa was good to us this year. While he had no idea what was going on, Carson made out like a bandit with far too many gifts; books, toys, clothes, shoes, a piggy bank, and a Teddy Ruxpin to boot. Nick got a Jack Lalaine fruit juicer, goggles, a python snake skin tie and a few other goodies. We got camping gear and Nick got me a Yudu!! I look forward to making many, many t-shirts in the new year. Next highlight.....San Diego to celebrate the New Year with Grandpa Stephen, Great Grandma Nilda and Great Grandpa Gerald!

Ho, ho, ho!
The Nativity. Carson, playing Jesus....dressed as Santa. Guess we could have planned a bit more appropriately.
